This stand-alone Acurite Monitor Display (also called a Receiver or Display Receiver) is wireless, and requires selecting the same channel (A, B, C) on both this Monitor and your existing outdoor Acurite Sensosr.  This Monitor Display does  Not include an Outdoor Wireless Sensor or Sensor mounting hardware.  This listing includes a NEW Monitor Display Unit Only. This Brand-new, still-sealed, cosmetically new, Wireless, 3-Channel, Acurite, Weather Station stand-alone Monitor Display is perfect for a replacement or as a supplemental add-on display monitor  for use with AcuRite "3-in-1" and/or Acurite "Notos" weather stations.   It is NOT  designed to work with the Acurite App, iPhone, Android, PC or Laptops. It is NOT Wifi or Bluetooth adaptable.   Currently not available as a stand-alone Wireless Display part on the Acurite website. An economical and simple solution to providing a replacement OR additional wireless monitor display/s for use with your existing Acurite Wireless 3-in-1 and Acurite Wireless Notos outdoor sensor; and perfect for viewing the Weather status in additional rooms or multi-story homes.   This 3-in-1 Monitor Display unit has 3 channels with a built-in selector switch to simply match to your existing Acurite outdoor sensor channel, A, B or C. Additionally, this high-contrast LCD, bar graph-type, Wireless Monitor Display Station uses just 3 AA  Alkaline batteries as the power source; no cords or transformers or plug in power supplies are necessary for its operation (AA batteries not included).  This Monitor Display unit has never been placed into service, or removed from its sealed tray packaging.   It will be shipped in its original tray with protective clam shell type cover, and still has the protective static-cling factory peel-film (with printed display sample shown) covering the front display lens. Originally purchased by me for use in multiple science classrooms, as a system of stand-alone local weather monitor displays in each room (utilizing a single centrally-located outdoor roof-top sensor); the system was not installed, and placed into home storage due to school closures.    The basic Acurite outdoor / rooftop outdoor wireless SENSOR required for this Acurite 3-in-1 / and Acurite Notos Display is commonly available from both Acurite, Amazon, and Ebay sources for approximately $50-60.  This listing does not include a wireless sensor or sensor mounting hardware.
